Group photography exhibition by members of the Photographic Circle at The Box (Dorylaiou 12, Mavili Square, Athens)

The exhibition "The Seas of the Photographic Circle" includes 233 photographs by 66 photographers who are members of the "Circle". The curators of the exhibition are Platon Rivellis and Angelos Michas.
The sea is not the final objective of these photographs, but merely the inspiration for their creation. Similarly, the sea serves as the impetus for the composition of this particular exhibition, aiming to highlight both the creativity and the diversity of personal photographic approaches and to emphasize the selective kinship that connects the photographers and drives them to participate in an artistic family. The participating photographers are not the only or comparatively "best" of the "Photographic Circle." Among them are both veteran and experienced, as well as newer and less experienced photographers. Their participation in the same exhibition underscores the significance of the association over time, as well as the joy shared by all member photographers when they realize that they are active elements of the Circle's creative journey. All other members who do not exhibit have similarly significant photographic work, which, however, focuses on themes other than the sea.
