1. Well-being changed before and after the crisis?
External conditions may hinder or facilitate the realization of "well-being," but it is inconceivable that they can change its very definition. An economic crisis is nothing more than an unfortunate circumstance among those that occur in every life, the greatest of which may be the loss of a loved one. However, it is the unfortunate circumstances that cultivate the spirit, while the fortunate ones lull it to sleep. Therefore, the former contribute to the gradual maturity of the individual and to a better assessment of the elements of a definition of "well-being."
2. What are the main parameters for its achievement?
The most substantial parameter for "well-being" is for the individual to be able to define the basic framework of the definition they want to apply to themselves. This, however, presupposes that one must rid themselves of any stereotypes related to "well-being" and seek within themselves the balance between the external world and their inner world, meaning that "well-being" has an entirely personal character. Simple fortunate circumstances, such as material prosperity, cannot constitute parameters of "well-being" because any overturning of them - quite common, after all - would dissolve not only the well-being but also the very definition of it.
3. What is your personal secret to well-being?
I try to train myself (still) to accept that well-being must always remain a question mark. Its achievement would mean (for me) its contestation as well. Life must be (always for me) a good movie script, with unexpected surprises, so that the main protagonist avoids the greatest threat, which is boredom, and looks forward (if possible, without anxiety) to the end that will vindicate the unknown screenwriter. And above all, to wake up every morning with joy, because a world awaits me where everything will seem (still and always) sacred. Perhaps that's why I fear the night and its dreams.
